The Assured Standards of Hostelling International mean =
that you can rely on a consistent level of services and facilities, =
whichever hostel you stay in. All Youth Hostel associations belonging to =
HI are required to implement regular inspection programmes.
HI-Q, Hostelling International's quality management =
system, complements the already well established Assured Standards, by =
putting the emphasis on the management and performance of hostels. This =
system brings together the best practices of quality systems from around =
the world and adapts them to the specific requirements of Youth Hostels. =
HI-Q allows hostels to consistently improve and deliver higher standards =
in order to guarantee you a great hostel experience. HI-Q is a long term =
programme which has been introduced in HI hostels throughout the world. =
Only those hostels who have successfully implemented the programme will =
be awarded the certificate and be able to display the distinctive HI-Q =
logo.
Great news: the 10 Youth Hostels in the LAJ group and =
its central office have recently been awarded HI-Q certification!!

Malmedy Youth Hostel.
